Partners of the Spark Project are excited to have launched the first phase of activity that sees the beginning of a journey through the world of social innovation, focussing on the social enterprise sector. The project aims to help social enterprises become more successful in the commercial markets through innovative ideas.
Secondary research has been completed and will soon be followed by primary research where the project will reach out to social enterprises themselves alongside stakeholders in all areas that may influence the social enterprises and innovation, e.g. policy makers, regulatory bodies, funding bodies, researchers, trainers, opinion leaders and local and regional authorities.
This primary research will delve into understanding the effective processes and journey of social enterprises to achieving sustainable and high impact innovations. What are the barriers and blockers for all of those involved and influential in all stages of innovations? What needs to be in place?
